I couldn't believe my eyes when I spotted this sign.  Yes, in Germany we protect our hopping friends.
Today I am linking with Song-ography, and One Dad.

    1. The sign is not about frogs but about toads, a (slightly) endangered species in Europe. Some of their migration routes lead across roads and the idea is to save them from being run over by a car.

I have to say that when the regional governments went a step further and started building special "toad tunnels" under certain roads a few years ago, they received a fair amount of ridicule in the press.

  5. Well, okay then. Guess there is at least one area where it might be a little less hard to be green. Well spotted.
